INTERMEDIATE STAINED GLASS WINDOW MAKING – in Foil and Lead

24 hours of instruction time:  Course fee: 7200,-

Pre-requisite: Stained Glass Taster Day or Tiffany / Copperfoil skills.

Students should have their own tools & supplies for home work. Otherwise materials & glass can be purchased.

After completing the Introduction class many students are eager to get going on a more impressive work to challenge and refine their stained glass skills. You may choose to create your master window in either copper foil or lead assembly depending on which Beginner Level class you have taken. Your first session will be an individual consultation with the instructor to ensure that you have the skills and resolve to complete your desired project. During that session you will work with the instructor to choose and modify your design, enlarge it to create your full-size pattern and make the creative decisions to select your glass. You should plan on using at least 3 hours of instruction time for this consultation. In successive sessions students will receive instruction to improve their glass cutting and soldering skills, learn reinforcement techniques, and plan for framing or installation of the completed project. You should be prepared to work at home or book additional studio time between class sessions in order to complete a more ambitious project.

Time: to be arranged with participant(s).

We will teach you how to do repairs on both copper foil pieces and leaded pieces and save you thousands of kroner in the process!!  Learn all the ins and outs of repairing a stained glass panel, box or lampshade.
